This is also in the 10 WORST songs of the 70's and I have to agree. TERRIBLE song!
This is also one of my favourite songs of that decade and I'm at a loss as to why it isn't recognized more often critically. When I was a child, I misheard the lyric "All day long wearing the mask of false bravado" as "wearing the mask of Oscar Vardo" so I assumed it was somehow about a masquerade ball.
This song will "FOREVER" be a classic.I grew up in the 70's and remember this song very well.I will NEVER get sick of this song and it takes me back every time I HEAR IT.
God, I love sooo much of the 70's music! Seriously, listen to the difference in total production value compared to today's "disgrace to humanity" produced music!
I think the songs's of the 70's were the all time best.
